Yokonoe was formed and took shape in 2006, with the arrival of drums in the band to give a lift to their live concerts.
A band composed of multi-instrumentalists, the members of Yokonoe change instruments depending on the song, in order to vary and better serve the compositions which oscillate between power and intimacy, melancholy and energy. The complementary vocals of the two singers, with different temperaments, further enrich the band’s range of sounds.

Exploring the gulf of ambiant post-rock, recording the electro-pop species living at the depths and making an organic and meticulous study; this is the scientific work undertaken by the four pilots of the Bathyscaph "yokonoe".
